Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 23, 2026 · Therapy Corner & Consulting
1. What this is
TCC-Payroll-Dashboard is an internal application built for Therapy Corner & Consulting to reconcile billing/revenue data and calculate provider payroll. It is not a public product — accounts exist only for practice administrators and providers who have been individually invited or set up by an administrator. There is no public sign-up.
2. What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account's basic profile information.
- Payroll and compensation data: session/charge/payment records, compensation plan percentages, and payroll history relevant to your role in the practice.
- Patient-name references: the minimum patient information (name) needed to reconcile billing to payroll. This is encrypted at the field level in our database and is never used for any purpose beyond that reconciliation.
- Technical data: authentication tokens and standard Firebase session metadata (timestamps, session identifiers).
3. How we use it
Solely to operate the application: authenticate you, show you the payroll/reconciliation data your role is entitled to see, calculate compensation, and let admins and providers communicate about a payroll period. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running the practice's payroll.
4. We never sell or share your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and Google Cloud for hosting and database infrastructure — these are infrastructure providers bound by their own privacy and security commitments, not third parties we share data with for any independent purpose.
5. Data security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Patient-name fields are encrypted at the application level before they are ever written to the database, so they are not readable from a raw database backup. Access to payroll and patient data is restricted by role — providers can only see their own compensation history, never another provider's.
6. Data retention and deletion
Payroll and reconciliation records are retained as part of the practice's financial history. If your access to the application ends (e.g., you leave the practice), your account can be deactivated by an administrator; underlying payroll records are retained for the practice's recordkeeping and compliance needs rather than deleted.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will update the effective date above.
